Tiger Woods made headlines once again after being involved in a rollover car accident in Florida — but what many don’t realize is that the incident involved a pressure washing contractor’s equipment trailer.

According to reports, the accident occurred on March 27, 2026, on Jupiter Island, Florida. Woods attempted to pass a truck that was towing a pressure cleaning trailer when he clipped the rear of the trailer, causing his vehicle to overturn.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but the situation highlights an important and often overlooked topic within the power washing industry: road safety around work vehicles and equipment trailers.

🚧 The Hidden Risks of Pressure Washing Trailers

Pressure washing companies across the United States rely heavily on trailers to transport:

• Water tanks
• Surface cleaners
• Soft wash systems
• Hose reels and pumps

These trailers are essential — but they also present risks when:

• Drivers attempt unsafe passing maneuvers
• Trailers are not clearly visible
• Roads are narrow or residential

In this case, the presence of a pressure cleaning trailer became part of a high-profile accident involving one of the most recognizable athletes in the world.

⚠️ What This Means for Power Washing Contractors

This incident serves as a reminder that power washing professionals must take extra precautions when operating vehicles on public roads.

Key safety considerations:

• Proper trailer lighting and reflectors
• Clear branding and visibility
• Defensive driving practices
• Awareness of aggressive or impatient drivers

Even when contractors are operating safely, other drivers may not be — making road awareness critical.

🧼 Industry Takeaway

The power washing industry is growing rapidly, with more contractors on the road than ever before. As visibility increases, so does the importance of professionalism and safety standards both on and off the job site.

High-profile incidents like this bring unexpected attention to the industry — and present an opportunity to reinforce best practices.

🔧 Choosing the Right Power Washing Trailer Matters

Incidents like this highlight just how important it is to invest in a properly built and professionally engineered trailer setup. Not all pressure washing trailers are created equal — stability, weight distribution, braking, and visibility all play a critical role in safety on the road. High-quality manufacturers like Delco design their trailers with durability and contractor safety in mind, helping reduce risks during transport and operation.
